Vapor Cannister Purge Solenoid - MY07-21
The vapor cannister purge solenoid is mounted on the intake manifold and is part of the fuel vapor recovery system. The ECU controls this solenoid in order to direct fuel vapors captured in the carbon cannister into the engine to be burned during certain engine operating conditions. This solenoid is used on systems that rely on two solenoids for purge control.
A faulty solenoid may set a code and cause the CEL to turn on.
