Timing Belt Cover Grommet

Grommet insert (also referred to as mount) for the inner timing covers where they are bolted to the engine. Constructed of rubber and metal. Part of the system for sealing the timing covers against dust and water intrusion in order to protect the timing belt and related components.

Required whenever an inner cover is replaced because the new covers do not come with them. They are pressed into the round holes of the plastic cover by hand. Fits most EJ applications.

Sold individually. For DOHC applications there are 5 grommets used on the right side cover and an additional 2 grommets on the left cover of MY99+ models.
