Main Shaft Rear Support Bearing MT TY75

Double row tapered roller bearing with dimensions 25 x 65 x 32mm.  Supports the rear of the main (input) shaft in the transmission case and controls shaft thrust loads.  Fits mainly turbocharged 5MT from MY97 onward and certain cable shifted 6MT applications.  This bearing can be used to upgrade from 806225170 radial ball bearing in non-turbo applications by changing the 5th gear bearing race at the same time to the turbo application 5th race.

Always replace if the bearing feels rough or is noisy or shows signs of high temperatures or other damage.  This bearing presses on to the rear of the input (main) gear shaft between the 4th and 5th drive gears.  An outer snap ring included with the bearing helps control thrust movement of the shaft being sandwiched between the main and transfer cases via a thrust plate.
