Gear Shaft Lock Nuts 5MT
The lock nuts securing the gear shafts on the Subaru manual transmissions are staked and therefore are considered one-time use items. They should be replaced any time the shafts are disassembled.
After proper torquing the nuts should be staked to prevent loosening.
Available as a set of 3 nuts or individually (main shaft, driven shaft, and pinion shaft nuts).
