STI 6MT Front Final Drive Gear Set

Final drive gears, also known as ring & pinion set or crown wheel & pinion (CWP).  Replacement set of front final drive gears for the TY856 6-speed manual transmission.  Supplied as a matched set that have been run in together by the manufacturer.  Requires specialized installation to properly set up pinion depth, backlash, and bearing preloads.

This is a 3.90 ratio set and is the only factory ratio used in the 6MT.  Can be used with 3.90 or 3.54 rear diff ratio depending on the transfer ratio (1.0 transfer gears w/ 3.90 rear ratio or 1.1 transfer gears w/ 3.54 rear ratio).

Available with optional REM ISF© treatment.  ISF (superfinishing) improves strength and reliability by significantly reducing the surface roughness in order to eliminate stress raisers on the surface, lower operating friction, and improve tooth contact.  Selecting this option may add up to a week to the delivery time.
