Sleeve & Hub 6MT 5th/6th
Sleeve and hub assembly for 5th/6th gear selection for 6MT TY856 applications.
Gear clash due to missed shifts or worn synchros will cause damage to the synchro dog teeth. If the sharp angles on the leading edges of the sleeve (slider) become rounded over or damaged shift performance will suffer. In severe cases a burr forms on the sleeve and prevents engagement or will cause the transmission to be stuck in gear.
