Camshaft Oil Seal
Lip seal with 55mm outer diameter for sealing the front of the camshafts (behind cam sprocket). AVCS version has a 42mm inner diameter while Non-AVCS version has a 32mm inner diameter.
Camshaft oil seals should be replaced if they are leaking or if they are removed for any reason. When installing these seals the inner and outer diameter should be lightly lubricated and the seal pressed in to the correct depth using the appropriate tool.
Cars with AVCS on intake only (STI GDB models with EJ257 or EJ207, and all EJ255) would order 2 x AVCS seals (for intake side) and 2 x Non-AVCS seals (for exhaust side).
