Main Shaft Rear Support Bearing 6MT
Double row tapered roller bearing (29x72x32mm) with snap ring groove for use on all 6MT TY856 applications.
Always replace if the bearing feels rough or is noisy or shows signs of high temperatures. This bearing presses on to the rear of the input (main) shaft and is secured with a nut and lock washer (which are not considered re-usable). A snap ring on the outer race diameter locates the main shaft position relative to the case and 3 snap ring thicknesses are available for adjustment of that shaft position. A shim between bearing outer race and oil pump cover controls the thrust movement of the shaft. Multiple shim thicknesses are available.
