STI Rear Strut Top Mount GD MY04-07
REDUCING COMPLIANCE
STI hardened strut top mounts are produced identically to the factory parts but with a much firmer rubber compound. This reduced rubber compliance lowers the deflections under high cornering forces minimizing undampened movement and better controlling suspension geometry changes. Expect a more solid suspension feel and steering response. Some additional NVH should be expected.
Two versions of this strut top mount are available: standard replacement version with spring seat or a coilover-specific version which has the spring seat deleted.
Can be used on V7 struts with use of supplied spacer and V8-9 spring.
Supplied individually (two required per vehicle).
