FLEX FUEL POWER ADVANTAGE
The COBB flex fuel system allows the ECU to constantly adjust for the ethanol content in the fuel. High ethanol content (E85) fuels can provide substantial power gains when tuned appropriately. The key to harnessing that power is COBB's flex fuel kit. The kit consists of an ethanol sensor, an ethanol signal converter to communicating the sensor data to the ECU, hoses and adapters, electrical harnesses, and mounting bracket.
Taking full advantage of E85 requires a fuel system appropriately designed to support ethanol use both in terms of flow requirements and materials resistant to the corrosive nature of the fuel. The use of COBB's fuel pressure sensor kit is essential for safe operation. Pro tuning is highly recommended.
