

6MT Front Final Drive Gear Set 4.44
Final drive gears, also known as ring & pinion set or crown wheel & pinion (CWP). For STI, Spec B, or Forester STI 6-speed manual transmission (6MT). This is not a factory ratio for the 6MT so we had it custom made. Ideal for rally and other street or motorsport applications requiring a short final drive ratio for increased acceleration at the expense of top speed.
This must be used with a rear diff ratio of 4.44 and transfer ratio of 1.0 otherwise premature center diff failure or other damage may occur. DCCD equipped models from 2006 onward will require an XShift 1.0 transfer gear set because no factory 1.0 transfer gears exist for this application. 4.44 rear ratio and XShift 1.0 transfer gears can be purchased separately.
Supplied with REM ISF© treatment as standard (included in price). ISF (isotropic superfinishing) improves strength and reliability by significantly reducing the surface roughness in order to eliminate stress raisers on the surface, lower operating friction, and improve tooth contact.

- STI 6MT MY01-05 (UK and some other markets may need to fit 1.0 transfer gears)
- STI 6MT MY06-21 (Requires X-Shift 1.0 Transfer Gear Set)
- Legacy Spec B 6MT (Must fit 1.0 transfer gears)
- Forester STI 6MT
