Saenz Performance-Series rods are designed for extreme power levels and utilize a tri-beam design (combines elements of I-beam and H-beam designs).  The tri-beam provides exceptional strength and rigidity necessary to support extreme power levels with optimized strength to weight to ensure reliability under high rpm operation. Manufactured in 4340 chromoly and available with either ARP L19 or Custom Age 625+ rod bolts.

This 4340 tri-beam rod is also available in a 2mm longer version. The long rod offers several benefits by increasing the rod ratio. Reduced piston acceleration and increased dwell time improves breathing and combustion efficiency. Lower rod angles reduce friction and piston skirt wear by decreasing the piston side loading. Long rods also can enhance torque in the higher rpm range. These rods require a piston with a 2mm reduced compression height or a 4mm shorter stroke crankshaft (EJ25 with EJ20 crankshaft de-stroker setup). These rods can be difficult to fit due to the altered geometry and the pin access hole locations in the block case.
