CAST ALUMINUM FOR RELIABILITY

COBB cast aluminum turbo inlet replaces the failure and leak prone plastic factory part.  On top of this COBB has incorporated many features and upgrades to extract maximum performance and usability out of this part.  The inside diameter of the inlet is 70mm providing a 5mm increase over stock while the 50mm inside diameter of the outlet is 2mm larger than stock and a perfect match to the turbo compressor diameter.  The brittle factory bypass valve connection is replaced with a robust silicone coupler, a vast improvement over stock.  Connections and fittings are provided for the boost control solenoid, PCV and EVAP systems.  And a flat machined surface is provided should you need to modify it for additional sensors such as IAT or pressure sensors.  A captive o-ring provides a leak-free connection to the turbo.
