Turbo Wastegate Solenoid
The boost control solenoid is modulated by the ECU to bleed the pressure signal going to the wastegate in order to control the opening of the wastegate. This system allows for more precise control of turbo boost when compared to relying on the wastegate spring alone.
A failed boost control solenoid will generally result in low boost pressures.
