DTM Air Temp Sensor (IAT)
Sensor for measuring air temperature. Uses 2-pin Deutsch DTM connector for high quality weatherproof connection. Connector kit supplied. Sensor uses a 1/8NPT thread with pre-applied thread sealer.
Accurate air temperature measurement post-intercooler is essential for speed density tuning. Subaru uses an intake temp sensor integrated into the mass air flow sensor but this measurement is pre-turbo and not an accurate representation of the actual charge air temperature when it enters the cylinders.
